VHS Marl: Learn English on educational leave

Has it been a long time since school? Are you not doing well with English at work? insel-VHS is offering two intensive English courses in October as part of educational leave in accordance with the AWbG NRW (Continuing Employee Training Act). It starts on Monday, October 9 at 9 a.m. Registrations are possible on site (Wiesenstraße 22, 45770 Marl), by telephone or online.

BRUSH UP ENGLISH, A2

In both English courses, English is learned intensively over five days each. In the “English Brush up, A2” school, English is refreshed in a group of up to twelve participants and basic “communication skills” for work are improved. The goal is to regain security in action-oriented situations in everyday life and at work. The required textbook: Business English for Beginners A2, Cornelsen Verlag, ISBN 978-3-06-020660-5.

ENGLISH FOR DAILY LIFE AND WORK, B1

In this course, participants can refresh and consolidate their existing English skills. The course focuses on conversation in professional and everyday life. Suggestions are presented in the form of videos, texts, images or audio recordings. There will be small excursions into grammar and various areas of vocabulary. The wishes of the participants are responded to flexibly. The group is made up of a maximum of twelve participants.

STUDY LEAVE

Both events are classified as educational holidays according to the AWbG NRW.

The insel-VHS accepts registrations on site, online at www.vhs-marl.de or by calling (02365) 503 566 99. Cancellations are possible up to two weeks before the start of the seminar. The participation fee is €100 (from ten participants), €118 (from eight participants) or €175 (from five participants).
