Cushman & Wakefield has joined the Italian PropTech Network (IPN), the platform that promotes collaboration between academia and companies in the real estate sector.
IPN was born in 2018 as a research project of the Real Estate Center (REC) of the Polytechnic of Milan. From 2020, in addition to producing the map of the Italian PropTech ecosystem, it also becomes a network that brings together startups, scaleups and large companies in the real estate sector, as well as other companies interested in transformation digital technology in the sector.
The goal of the IPN is to create a synergistic exchange environment of innovation and growth, where academic knowledge meets practical business experience. Being part of it means actively participating in the transformation of the real estate sector.
IPN is supported by the Joint Research Center – PropTech (JRC-P) of the Polytechnic Foundation of Milan, which undertakes advanced research to develop new technologies and services for the entire real estate chain.

Francesca Altamura, Sustainability Lead Italy of Cushman & Wakefield: “We are delighted to join the IPN and are convinced that our membership can further strengthen the network's position as a national reference point for innovation in the real estate sector, in promoting collaboration between universities, companies and institutions to support the development of PropTech in Italy.”

The membership arises from the desire of Asset Services – the C&W service line specialized in real estate management led by Lamberto Agostini – to continue improving processes and adopting innovative technologies that allow clients to position themselves at the forefront -custody of property management through the adoption of technological solutions. .

C&W's participation in the network will be coordinated by Leonardo Gaggia from C&W's ESG team and will involve different departments of the company with the aim of promoting and potentially integrating PropTech throughout the real estate supply chain.
